How can i get the status of a VPN connection (like PRTG) in UTM9

is it possible to query a VPN tunnel with snmp? I can't find an OID for this. I want to know if a tunnel is "up" or "down". SNMP traps are not suitable because I only see the "iNFO NR". And in ipsec syslog there are too many entries that need to be evaluated. This leads to a high system load.

ps. is it possible to geht the status of a vpn-tunnel in cc?

Thank you

Joachim

  • Does cc get_ipsec_status |grep 'all_established' give you what you want, Joachim?

  • hello,

I log in with loginuser, then root:

    bash: cc: command not found

    I use UTM Release 9.603-1

What is cc? how to install it?

    Thanks for your help

cc ins an alias for /usr/local/bin/confd-client.plx, and if that weren't installed, noting would work.  If you get command not found, that means either the alias didn't get established, but more likely that you aren't in as root, only loginuser.
