Remove message header

I found how to hide internal mail server in message header, but i was interested to hide the message id ending data too. (because provides the internal mailserver name)
Anyone has done that?

  • No, I meant in DNS because I think the SMTP Proxy requests rDNS of the sending server and then includes that in what it writes into the header.  That's just an educated guess though!

  • Thanks Bob but i have done what i needed. Hiding data (ip, local name, domain) of internal server.

  • Olsi, I didn't see anything about removing message headers in that link.  I saw the recommendations about QoS and other items when configuring UTM SMTP Proxy.  Was there a section I scanned too quickly?

    I see old posts here about that with no solution. Even the UTM manual has no example how to do that. In the article was a litle  and nice
