Obviously, your mail server has to point to the UTM for outgoing mail rather than directly going to the internet. If it's not set, point your mail server to the UTM and under the relaying tab, add you mail server to the allowed host relays so the UTM will accept email from it.
Then you would set scan outgoing mail in the smtp proxy under the relaying tab.
Then under malware, there are blocked file extensions to which you add the extension there.
The above is for mail coming in and I would think that by setting scan outgoing mail, the same rules would apply.
Hey Louis thanks for your help but i did that already.
If i check under Malware the MIME Type Quarantine executable content (e.g. exe) i got this mail when i send a message outgoing.
Your message to the following recipients was quarantined:
<*@*>, quarantine reason: File Type (application/x-dosexec)
Please contact your IT administrator for further assistance.
When i add additions MIME Type like this
application/vnd.ms-excel.sheet.macroEnabled.12
vms/xlsm
i got no Email like the first one.
I filter incoming Mails under File Extension Filter and in the Quarantine i can see that there are blocked.
Outgoing still not work. I think it´s a bug in Sophos UTM.

i got the Issues solved.
I did a Exception under Email Protection -- SMTP -- Exception
Skipping -- Expression blocking: I pointed the Subnet wrong.
After the correction, no file with XLSM was sent outside
Hi, Carsten, and welcome to the UTM Community!
Thanks for having the goo community spirit that brought you back here to share the solution with the rest of us!
