550 Administrative prohibition

one customer Complains that his Emails doent reach our Employees.

user@ourdomain.com SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: host host.ourdomain.com [IP-of-our-UTM]: 550 Administrative prohibition

We have a lot of communication that works fine and I don't want to unblock stuff just because they don't have their stuff configured correctly.

I wouldn't even know what to unblock since this error doesn't say whats wrong. the UTM can unblock so much:

RBL checks / RDNS/Helo checks / Antispam checking / Expression blocking / Greylisting / BATV / SPF check

I don't wont to open them all.

Does someone know what of this I need to skip to make it work and what I can tell them to fix. because I don't want to bother around with the other party long.

Thanks A lot

Michael

  • Michael, also, please show an IP like 88.x.y.123 instead of IP-of-our-UTM as that makes the "picture" easier to see.  Include all of the log lines related to an email that your UTM rejected - if the includes lines related to other emails, that's not a problem.
