Hi all,
We are running two SG450 Hardware Appliances in Hot Standby (Active/Passive) Mode. Version installed is 9.411-3.
I am trying to permit encrypted e-mails from selective sender addresses.
I created a Exception List in Email Protection > SMTP > Exceptions which skipped Extension Blocking, MIME type checks and Email Encryption for a select list of sender address patterns.
However, when I attempt to test this exception using an approved sender address, the e-mail is still being quarantined.
Under Email Protection > SMTP > Malware, I have the Quarantine unscannable and encrypted content option selected. In general we do want to block this type of material. When I un-tick this option the e-mail is successfully delivered.
Does the manually created Exception List not override the Malware option or have I missed something painfully obvious with this?
Many thanks for your assistance with this.
Best regards,
John P
