Test Quarantine Report and Access

Hi all,

so we are moving mails with special file extensions into the quarantine. At the moment I am checking daily the mails and release them.

This is too much work and so we are searching for another solution. We want to test the quarantine report....

Is there a way to "test" the quarantine report? A lot of our users will connect to it via web and so it would be great to check the subdomain and login if everything works.

Would be really thankful for help here. Thanks!
Markus

  • Markus, it sounds like you're confusing the Quarantine Report sent once or twice a day with the User Portal.  Have you synced your users to the UTM?  Do you have the User Portal configured?  If so, you can give select individuals the ability to see their portion of what you see in the Mail Manager.

  • Thanks for your reply!

Yes we have synced the users to the UTM and are using the User Portal.

I found out when I am activating the quarantine report I can set which types of mails users can release. So that is really good.

But the quarantine report would be a really good solution to inform the users about the quarantine. But before I activate this report and sent it to everyone I would like to test it maybe with one mail address. Is there a way? I just see the exceptions...but it cant imput there ANY mail address except the one I want to test...

    Regards

  • For me I have a solution now. I just cleared the quarantine and sent one mail which went to the quarantine.

Then I waited for the report and so I could tested it. So for me this is answered. Thanks!
