SMTPD not running properly since firmware update

since firmware update to 9.400-9 i have had some issues with the SMTPD not running (6 alerts since update) which means mail doesn't even come into the UTM logs.

I have rebooted and a flurry of mails come in, anyone else had issues?

    Hi everyone,

    Thank you for reporting the issue, we managed to track down the cause so you can expect a fix to this very soon.

    In the meanwhile, as Daniel Hund mentioned, issuing 'pkill -9 smtpd* && /var/mdw/scripts/smtp restart' command as root will fix the problem.

    I installed the Update this morning.

    I can receive and send Mails. But the message about Service restart is still coming.

    Smtp daemon not running - restarted

    --

    HA Status         : HA SLAVE (node id: 1)

    System Uptime     : 9 days 2 hours 47 minutes

    System Load       : 0.02

    System Version     : Sophos UTM 9.400-9
