ctasd reports 'Confirmed'

Hi,

Since 2 days we have trouble sending to a handfull of domains. Even when sending just a plain text mail, we get a generic error like this back:
5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 550-'Administrative prohibition'

I have contacted one of the mail admins and he saw it was confirmed as spam: ctasd reports 'Confirmed'
-> CommTouch Anti Spam Daemon

Sophos seems to use Cyren (ex CommTouch) as anti-spam check.
I've already checked that our ip is not black listed.

Is there a way to see why Cyren marks us as spam.
I have the X-CTCH-RefID of one of those mails.

We had the same problems 3 weeks ago and it disappeared after a couple of days (after a Sophos update one of the admins told me then).

Thanks,
Kris

  • This was solved by last nights anti virus patterns update (version 95009). I haven't had any mail bounced back today.

    Affected mail security systems were Sophos Astaro and WatchGuard.

    Seems that Cyren (CommTouch) fixed their anti-spam pattern again.
