Okay, so just got our UTM 230 installed. So far so good.
However, we have a internal server in which is setup to be our SMTP relay to Office 365 account used for this purpose.
So, IIS is setup and working and was right up until the time of implementation of UTM 230. Delivery has halted several emails into the que.
I setup the SMTP and TLS to be allowed in Firewall rules.
I cannot seem to locate where in the logs this is being stopped.
I tried disabling the SMTP email protection (which fairly certain is not the cause). There is nothing in the log, nor any items showing in mail manager.
The setup is like this...one server is using IIS 6 as mail relay, authentication of a Microsoft Office 365 Exchange account setup to authenticate using TLS (587) to relay these mails to this account for delivery.
The firewall rules have been setup to allow SMTP, and the TLS port for this server to external. *It would be difficult since Microsoft changes IP address every third day to setup the actual host for destination (however should I have to?)
Anyway, the Email protection was turned back on and is in Simple mode. We don't have Exchange server hosted here. I have tried many different settings and willing to turn off if that helps to locate where these items are getting stuck.
