Notification eMails queued

Hello Board,

I have set up a new Sophos UTM for testing and I have problems sending Mails to my admin users mail address. Message in mailmanager is : "R=static_route_hostlist defer (-1): lookup failed for all hosts in static_route_hostlist router: host_find_failed=ignore host_all_ignored=defer"

I dont want to send mails to others, I only want to get utm status mails and i want to send autobackups to the admin account.

Has anyone an idea??

  • lookup failed probably means a problem with DNS.

  • Thanks for reply but I think DNS works fine, I can do a DNS lookup with proper results.

    I checked all settings an I think I do everything right but no success to send autobackup or notifications.
  • In 'Support >> Tools', can you ping the FQDN in your MX record?
