Track outgoing emails

Hi @all,

my colleague experiences that her sent mails are not received on by a client.
Is it possible to track outgoing mails if they were sent?

We are using Sophos UTM (9.309) and Exchange 2010 with Smarthost

  • Do your logs show the destination, or intermediate, mail server(s) responding that the messages were accepted?
  • I just have a SMTP Proxy log which shows the following:

    /var/log/smtp/2015/03/smtp-2015-03-16.log.gz:2015:03:16-16:46:20 myasg exim-in[28899]: 2015-03-16 16:46:20 1YXXDe-0007W7-34  employee@mydomain.de P= R=static_route_hostlist T=static_smtp H=192.168.1.12 [192.168.1.12]:25 C="250 2.6.0  [InternalId=689517] Q"

I cannot interprete exim-in and exim-out  and  (ingoing, outgoing?!)
