After Update to 9.309-3 - many 'Rejected: Spam (confirmed)'

Hi,

after the update to 9.309-3 there are many emails from our customers with are rejected with Spam (confirmed).
There are no spam relevant criteria in the mail.

It must be a bug in the new 9.309-3 version.

Are there a Workaround for that Problem ?
I have set the 'Spam detection during SMTP transaction' - 'Reject at SMTP Time' to 'Off'.

  • Andreas, did you try the configuration restore?

On second thought ctasd reports 'Confirmed' could indicate an issue at CommTouch.  Are you sending these valid emails as attachments in a new email to 'not-spam@labs.sophos.com'?

    Cheers - Bob

  • Hi,

I have not restored the configuration, because I will wait for an answer from the Sophos support regardingthis issue.
After I turned off the spam detection during the SMTP transaction, e-mails arrived that were previously marked as spam. As a result, I can export that e-mails as .EML and I will send them to 'not-spam@labs.sophos.com'.

    regards,
    Andreas
