SPF Check Failed

We are having issues with a particular email address that is failing with the following: Rejected SPF (SPF check failed). Looking in the SMTP Log I can see that on 1/23 the email failed, but yet on 1/19 an email was received from this email address without issue.

Over the weekend we upgraded to firmware version 9.210-20 from 9.204-20

Can anyone tell me what has changed and how to correct this?

  • You need to start with the SPF record -- see if it's valid and/or available.
