Block E-Mails to specific recipient

Hi!

We have the following E-Mail Server Setup:
Incoming: Remote SMTP -> Sophos UTM 9.305-4 -> Internal Mailserver
Outgoing: Internal Mailserver -> Sophos UTM 9.305-4 -> Remote SMTP

What I need to do is block incoming E-Mails from remote SMTP to a specific internal address (e.g. block messages from remote to group@mydomain.com).

Is that possible?

Thanks, Mike

  • Likely possible via direct manipulation of the exim configuration in /var/chroot-smtp/etc/.  Making changes survive configuration regeneration and updates might not be straightforward.

Check with your reseller or Sophos support first:  it is almost certainly outside their comfort zone.

Thanks a lot! I will try that - config files are much more my thing than the webgui [:D]

Already voted for that feature request.
