We are using a Sophos model Model: ASG120 at our remote site. We are having difficulty in sending email to our main office. The connection is made, and I can see the traffic on our Watchguard firewall, along with the attachment names, but the email never sends out of the email client. This only fails with attachments, and only if they are larger than say 50kb (except for after hours, where they will go sporadically). I have noted that our upload speed is down to between .20-.40Mb/s. (We are supposed to have 1Mb/s up & down, but testing throughout the day does not show us as getting this. Our graphs do show us spiking up to the 1.2Mb/s level at certain points throughout the day.
We are not using the 'Email Protection', only using an SMTP and POP3 rule for send and receive. Users from other networks are sending to us fine. This started occurring after I updated to the 9.209.8 version of the firmware, which was done last Friday, but perhaps a coincidence.
