E-mail rejected although attachment size doesn't exceed max value

I'm having issues getting a mail through UTM 9.111-11. The mail contains an attached PDF file (17 MB) and still gets rejected although max message size on the UTM have been turned up to 50 MB, and even restarted.

SMTP error from remote mail server after MAIL FROM: SIZE=24897551:
host 192.168.1.2 [192.168.1.2]: 552 5.3.4 Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size.

Is this a known bug? Any ideas?

    The problem is not on the UTM side but on your internal mail server (192.168.1.2) receive message size limit.

    In example below I configured 50MB limit on UTM, but only 10MB on "Default Client" receive connector on internal Exchange server (10.1.9.40)...same results as in your post:

    I can help you with Exchange settings, otherwise find that property in your internal mail server software settings.

    I successfully e-mailed the same file within my organization without any hassle so I ruled out the Exchange. My transport settings (org conf - hub - global) was configured with 40 MB, but my send and client connectors was only configured with 20 MB.
