Migrate sophos email appliance to UTM email protection

Can I migrate (export  import) Sophos Email Appliance (SEA) email policies to UTM v9.2 email protection?
We run Sophos SEA v3.7.9. Now they have released UTM v9.2 with more email protection features. But if UTM does it similar, I would like to coalesce the two functions into one and remove SEA from the mix.
I have some really cool data policies. I want to keep these but port them over to UTM v9.2 without losing the functionality. The outbound policy looks at the subject, parsing for a [secure] or [unsecure] tag. Our workers decide if their content warrants encryption.
I want to avoid reinventing the wheel or lose functionality. Currently, UTM faces internet. Internal, SEA provides anti-spam/anti-virus/SPX encryption; acts as smarthost. Behind that is Exchange 2010 email server.
Thanks for comments,
Patrick

  • No update. I have since kept email protection on the appliance. I have some rules that don't particularly transfer over and the company needs the functionality. I have some rules that parse for security tags in the subject then warn sender if not correct. It is also problematic to test it on the UTM side; business interruption, cert install & domain registration.

Sorry, I'm no help. I hope to test it in a virtual environment someday. For now, it's on ice.

    Cheers!
