Route hosted exchange traffic via UTM

Hi All 

I have a question , I would like to find out if anyone that is using hosted exchange or office 365 etc has routed the MX via the UTM for scanning and then back out to the hosted exchange provider ??

I do understand that it will create duplicate traffic as the mail will be routed via the UTM back to the provider and then be pulled down by all the outlook clients as RPC over HTTPS traffic 

I would like to use teh UTM to scan all mail but the customer does not want to consider an onsite exchange setup 

The same could be true for website traffic could it be possible to point the DNS directly to the UTM and then forward the DNS out to the website host ??

    I have a similar client setup, although not with hosted Exchange.  The first-priority MX record is an FQDN that resolves to the UTM.  The lower-priority MX is the FQDN of the mail server.  You might want to consult Exchange with SMTP Proxy and [HOW TO] Email Encryption using External Mail Server.  The second link includes more basic setup for an external mail server where you want to scan outbound as well as inbound email.
