Roaming Mail Users

I am getting ready to setup a mail server behind my Sophos UTM Home running 9.200-11. I understand E-Mail protection for email being delivered to the mail server.

The question I have is when users who are outside of the network protected by the UTM what configurations are needed on the UTM to allow a user to send an email using the mail server that is protected by the UTM.

Example: I am out and about on the town and I need to send an e-mail from my iPhone.

If this has already been covered somewhere and I over looked it please share the link.  [:)]

  • Ron, you would have a DNAT or use the WAF to take traffic from your iPhone directly to the mail server.
