What are the SMTP mail spooling timings in ASG8? And can they be adjusted?
A new client had a few day outage of their mail system and once I got it back on-line, inbound mail wasn't getting past the ASG just going strait into the spool. It took about an hour between getting the system back up and getting to finding the ASG and the spool that was still collecting mail. It released the mail well enough on a per message basis (yes I picked all and let it process) but I couldn't find a toggle to tell it to just plain resume normal operations. I am looking for what are the timings for the spooler (how long would it have taken for mail to resume without intervention) and if they can be adjusted at all?
I couldn't find any way to see or adjust this behavior from the admin interface nor in the documentation.
