Blocking all mail from a domain

Hi,
I've a similar problem. Can anyone help me block everything from news@mon-sprtquck.com
They have similar domains like deal-sprtquck.com, news-sprtquck.com
If I try ^https?://([A-Za-z0-9.-]+\.)?sprtquck\.com/ at jsregex.com I shows no matches. Does these rule works in UTM?
Are there another better site to test my regex?

I tried to paste my string above in the sender blacklist but it's removed by the setup.

Email Protection → SMTP Profiles:
Removing 1 invalid element(s) 'https?://([A-Za-z0-9...' from the list.

Any hints for me?

Best regards
Carsten

  • Hi, Cassolo,

I moved your post to its own thread in Mail Protection because you had added it to a thread in the Web Protection forum.

In email blacklists, you use simple filename notation, not REGEX.  To block an entire domain, blacklist *.domain.com.  To blacklist a specific address, blacklist the address.

When I see a desire to blacklist a news@ address, I suspect that you might want to unsubscribe from the newsletter instead of just blackholing messages from it.

    Cheers - Bob
