[9.106-16] POP3 proxy mails not in sync with server

Hi,

today I noticed that the mails returned by a pop3 client which is intercepted by the pop3 proxy returns different results than a client that doesn't use the pop3 proxy. It appears that mails that got deleted from the pop3 server aren't being removed from the proxy. The POP3 log reports this:

2013:09:19-08:04:42 firewall pop3proxy[2270]: Client 192.168.1.50 logged out (account=2, deleted=0)
2013:09:19-08:06:10 firewall pop3proxy[2399]: Prefetch for account 2: Successfully logged in on POP3 server 
2013:09:19-08:06:10 firewall pop3proxy[2399]: Prefetch for account 2 finished (fetched=0, deleted=0, not_on_server=21)
2013:09:19-08:07:40 firewall pop3proxy[2530]: Prefetch for account 2: Successfully logged in on POP3 server 
2013:09:19-08:07:40 firewall pop3proxy[2530]: Prefetch for account 2 finished (fetched=0, deleted=0, not_on_server=21)

Any idea how to get those two in sync?

  • Franc, I'm not sure what your question is.  Do you have 'Delete quarantined mails from server' selected?  Does account 2 have 21 emails in the POP3 Quarantine?

  • Franc, I'm not sure what your question is.  Do you have 'Delete quarantined mails from server' selected?  Does account 2 have 21 emails in the POP3 Quarantine?
