[9.105-9] smarhost bug

Hi All

It seems that if you have smarthost configured under smtp settings and you disable the smtp funtionality, UTM will keep trying to send email using the smarthost.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Enable smtp and configure smarthost
2) Disable SMTP without disabling smarthost though
3)Try to enter webadmin with invalid password (in order for UTM to send email out regarding failed webadmin-assuming notifications are enabled for this event)

Thanks

  • Hi Wingman,
I think you have missed a configuration point. If you have a smart host in the SMTP configuration you should also have a smart host in your notifications configuration. That is my experience with smart hosts on the UTM.
Would you please check your notifications configuration.
