Dont Block outgoing E-Mails with attachments zip

Hello Community,

i got an UTM 9 with Firmware version:  9.002-12.

In my E-Mail Protection --> SMTP-->AntVirus

i got zip added under "Blockes file extensions" this works fine, and my sophos block E-Mails with zip attachments.

But....i dont want that my UTM is blocking outgoing (send my outlook) Messages with a zip attachment.

how can i configure that incoming E-Mail with attachments(zip) still getting blocked but my outgoing E-Mails with attachments(zip) getting right thru the UTM ?

    Add an Exception for Extension blocking for your email address as a sender.

    i try this and give you an feedback.

    I got a short other question, when i want to allow an completly Domain in my Mail Protection, how can i do that ?

    I want that all E-Mails from  ebay.com are allowed/permitted.

    Unlike just about every other place in the Astaro/Sophos UTM where REGEX are used, the ebay email addresses are indicated by *@ebay.com.

    is there a nother solutions with the exceptions, so i have to add all email senders from the user to send attachments outgoing ?

    If you have an internal mail server, just make an exception for mail coming from it.  That's better than making an exception for your domain as that would allow spams with spoofed senders through.
