VERY STRANGE... lost power, now no SMTP inbound

This is beyond bizarre. I lost power the other day and when it was restored, I powered up my systems.  My Astaro system is running on a VMWare Hypervisor. The hypervisor evidently had a dead battery so when I powered it on, I had to set BIOS to defaults. When everything was running again, I checked my email and I can get nothing inbound. I've restored configs from the past, no change. I've tried port scanning from the web and all ports are blocked to the email server. I have NAT configured as it has been for years. I've verified that mx records are correct and ip addresses are appropriate.  Can anyone think of what's going on?  ISP is Comcast but I don't believe that's an issue.  Regards,  Doug

  • Hi, Doug,

If the modem didn't get killed by the power problem, I guess your problem is in VMWare.
