Hi, I just configured my UTM9 with email protection, it work fine after set firewall rules. The email protection statistic don't work. not any email appears.

The exchange server is behind UTM. The relayng tab is empty. I configure just the host-based relay tab with my mail server.
If y delete the settings of the firewall the mail dont work (does't send and revive mails)

If you want it to work correctly, you should follow the instructions in Basic Exchange setup with SMTP Proxy and then delete the DNAT and firewall rules as oldeda sald.

I just re-configured my astaro and work but in the mail server i have mails with error 451 dns failed. How do i configure astaro for dns forwording.?
google how to build a "connector" in exchange. explanation Exchange must send all the email to UTM, after that UTM will deliver the email. In this way Exchange has no need to look who is smtp.gmail.com
otherwise In "Email Protection" under "Advanced tab" check that box "Transparent Mode" [:)] because this is your main problem that enforced you adding firewall rules
oldeda and I disagree about using the Transparent mode in the SMTP Proxy. I don't have a Firewall rule opening port 25, so I think "Trasparent" allows a PC infected with a spambot to deliver mail.
But, I think he's right that the answer isn't in fixing your DNS, it's in configuring the SMTP Connector in Exchange to send emails via the SMTP Proxy. Good catch, Olsi!
