All,
We receive a lot of spam email from a specific country. We do zero business from this country so would prefer not to receive any email from them. Not sure how to do it properly and efficiently.
Let's use countrycode example = .mo I have added that countries TDL .mo in the Email Protection->SMTP->Antispacm Blacklisted Address Patterns, but it didn't work.
So added the .mo to the Email Protection->SMTP->Expressions and that caused other issues. The .mo was a match for some client emails that use the firstname.lastname scheme and filtered their emails out. For example: me.mover@somewhere.comIs there a way to block @*.mo addresses?
Just curious. I don't have to use the forums very often, but it seems that many topics are never answered. Does Sophos personnel monitor these forums? Does anyone have answers monitor these forums?Asking for a friend that I recommend Sophos UTM and Intercept too....
See #2 in Rulz (last updated 2021-02-16). The Blacklist only accepts entries like *@domain.com - not *@*.mo.
Cheers - Bob
I went and visited Rule #2. It does not have a solution for *@*.mo Do you mean it cannot be done in Sophos UTM?
Your only solution is to use Country Blocking. *@*.mo can't be used.
