One question regarding reciepient verification

My first post here. I have noticed that if i use 636 port and ssl verification against AD in email verification it is not working. If i change to 389 without ssl it starts in a moment. I am on:9.605-1. Any idea? I would not like to change, because also sslvpn uses same query.

Would you please take UTM's SSH access and check if you can telnet your AD server on 636 port? This might be related to communication between the two devices.

yes, its working. I have tried to telnet directly from utm with putty. Also same authentication rule works ok for sslvpn. If i change it to 389 without ssl starts to work in same moment also for email.

test is successful on both situations (636 or 389). Only with 636 is not working mail verifications against AD

Please tell us what Sophos Support says about this and whether it's a bug.
