Hello guys,
if one would like to do some maintenance on internal mail system, exchange for example, it is a good idea to pause the mail flow. Especially if it would be the case if a snapshot of the server has to be restored.
According to
the following procedure could help:
1. In Webadmin change the IP address of internal mail server object to a fake one (from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.111). All incoming messages after that went to spool.
2. Change back the IP address to the original one, selected all messages from the spool and choosed Retry action. All successfully delivered.
Recipient validation is done via AD is presumed.
Anyone got a better solution? Or is everyone using that procedure?
Best
Alex
