IView Alerts

Hi All 

 

Is there a way to configure Iview to send Alerts , if specified thresholds are reached ? We have multiple firewalls reporting in , and it would be useful to standardise an Alert profile.

    Not that I'm aware of. It's more of a data gatherer and is good at showing patterns. It's certainly helped us out on occasions for spotting spurious traffic etc.

    For alerts, I think you are looking for a good syslogger eg ipswitch whatsupgold or kiwi syslog. You can set email alerts in those to alert to any pattern you want.
