Not sure what this means

I'm still new to Sopho's so when I come across things I don't understand, I need to ask:  Seeing this in my web filtering log today and not sure why now.

2017:11:30-12:08:46 firewall httpproxy[7038]: id="0003" severity="info" sys="SecureWeb" sub="http" request="0x8d77000" function="check_loopback" file="dns.c" line="1093" message="Connections to 127.0.0.0/8 prohibited"

Any help for me to learn is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.

Donnie

  • Uncheck 'Detect HTTP loopback' at the top of the 'Misc' tab in 'Filtering Options' and test to see if that makes a difference.
