Boot UTM install from USB via UEFI

Hello,

i'm trying to install my UTM on a Pluto E230. Because the E230 doesn't have a CD drive i used unetbootin to create an USB install stick.

BUT when trying to boot from this stick, the boot loader didn't find anything. It turns out that the E230 from MITAC just has an UEFI- but no BIOS- or CSM-support. As  far as i can see the ASG-ISO isn't UEFI (there is no "EFI" directory).

So my question: Is there a hack to boot my E230 from the USB stick and install the UTM? How will the installation support the UEFI-boot-process? All my other UTM's are currently using a normal BIOS- or CSM-boot; so i'm not sure if the currently used grub is aware of using UEFI to boot up.....

any help would be appreciated

kind regards

Torsten
