Utm (latest version) not using lte anymore

I'm using ASG/UTM since years now. Since 2015 I've used a usb Huawei E3272 as backup inet, since mid 2016 it's my main inet connection.

Everything worked fine so far. Some time ago i recognized that my inet is getting rather slow in the afternoon/evening. First i thought about isp-antenna load. After some time an hours of talks with my ISP I got told that I'm only connecting via 3g. And indeed, I tried it by directly plugging it into my notebook and speedtests get way faster.

So what now? I think the problem began when UTM got that "LTE" button implemented into the interface section.  It first set me back to gsm/edge so i  set it  back to LTE but downstream speed still is too low and fluctuating.

Any idea?

Gonna try rollback to an older 9.3 version today when at home.

    now downgraded to 9.358-3

    Got about 20mbit downstream, that's about 4 times as much as I've got the last weaks when using inet around the time of the day. Sites don't get timeout anymore although UTM's just downloading all 9.4xx updates.

    Only other thing that changed. Using minimal config right now because old 9.4 backup won't work on 9.3 UTM and old 9.3 backup was made with different hw that breaks my Webadmin on restore. Need to have a closer look into that.

     

    Edit: Upgrading to 9.404 right now to restore my backups
