What happens when my licensing expires?

Three years ago I purchased a base UTM license that has the following services:

Network Protection
Email Protection
Web Protection
Webserver Protection
Wireless Protection
Support Services

My company is trying to figure out future plans and will more than likely know by October. However the licenses expires on the 13th of September.

What would the repercussions be if we let the license lapse for a month? Would all services shut down and stop functioning, or would they continue just on old definitions?

    So I was able to get a quote from CDW. Apparently Sophos doesn't like giving out 1 month subscription. They "allowed" me to go with a 6 month extension, which I'm fine with.

    If anybody is looking for the info here is the info.
