Hardware Requirement

Hi Guys,

We are planning at our bigger customer a migration to Sophos UTM. Because the customer is growing very soon we decided to implement a HP Server as UTM:

HP Server: (active / passive)

2x DL360p G9 Xeon E5-2623V3 / 32 GB ECC RAM / SSD RAID 1 2x 240 GB Samsung Enterprise

PCiE Quad Port 4 Port Intel addional to the 4 Port Broadcom

Details:

- around 200-250 employees

- around 750 IPs

- 10 IPsec Site to Site VPNs

- Daily 100-150 Remote Access VPNs

- 2x WAN 100/100 Mbit

- Web Protection (Transparent) will be used and Customer is surfing a lot

- E-Mail Protection (SMTP Proxy) will be used (On Premise Exchange)  and Customers has daily huge Spam appearance

- IPS of course active

- no Endpoint Protection

- Sophos Sandstorm will maybe be active

- Web Server Protection will be used with 10 Webservers in a DMZ

So what do you think, is this Server powerfull enough regarding to this environment ?

Thank you and Regards
