Modules are inactive

I just rebuilt a bare metal box with UTM 9.314.13 and uploaded my 50 user home license that I have had for almost forever.

I now get the firewall active, but most everything else "is inactive".

I've done this many times, but I haven't been around for about 6 months.  I can't seem to figure out what I might have missed?

  • Why not just restore from a configuration backup?  That will include your home-use license.

  • The firewall was down for a few months and for some reason, the last backups were not around.  I did have a total hard drive crash so I was not able to retrieve the backups even by logging into the drive from another OS.  I did find the procedure but no  joy.

I do have my previous license key from my login.  That  loaded, but that is where I see the inactive modules.

  • How old is that license? Home Licenses expire after 3 years. So just go to myutm.sophos.com and delete your old home license. After that there will be a button to create a new one.
