UTM as UPS master (NUT) without authentication

Hi Everyone,
I am using the UTM 9 on a soft-appliance.

I know that there are some threads which look almost similar, but in fact these do not answer the question.
The UTM is connected to an APC Back-UPS 500 CS via USB, which is recognized and can be queried via SSH with "UPSC UPS".

The problem is, I'd like to get any access from my internal network to the NUT-protocoll at port 3493.
This will work with the original NUT software which has some authentication implemented - but with the method I'd like to get the data from the UPS, I can not authenticate.
The NUT port 3493 is open from the local to the internal network.

Anyway - as far as I know NUT can use the TCP-wrapper - but this also will not give any response on the UTM-IP Adress.
Same while using telnet on this port (no reply at all).

Here is what I wrote into the hosts.allow:

upsd : localhost, LOCAL, 127.0.0.1, 192.168.1.XXX : allow

(XXX is the end of the server-ip which will send this request to the UTM).

Any idea or help?
So as far as I know, the system I'm going to use for this task is not able at all to give any credentials to the UTM - so a "open access" via the IP would be awesome.

Regards,

Matthias
