Can AP55C Be Wall Mounted?

Looking to install a AP55C vertically on a wall in a brand new high end retail store, where cosmetics are everything. The store owners much prefer the look of the round AP55C vs the mechanical looking, square AP55. We need to mount the device on a wall rather than the ceiling. Has anyone had experience wall mounting the AP55C? I cannot get a straight answer from Sophos on the topic.

Of course..[;)] that it can be physically mounted on the wall, even unmounted lying at the shelf/table.

What is your question about, the physical part of mounting or about signal strength in this two different scenarios ?

Well it depends on how big an area you are trying to cover and the amount of data to be transferred?
Going on other preferred ceiling mounted devices, the radiation pattern should be in a half doughnut shape with maybe a reduced power in the middle. No patterns in the specifications, makes decisions like yours difficult.
