    Some shorts tests on 2,4GHz only with AP55:

    Laptop can get about 44Mbit/sec download
    iPhone 6 about 12Mbit/sec download, did get 35 with my older AP50

    With 5GHz:
    Laptop can get about 114Mbit/sec download (internet maximum for my line)
    iPhone 6 about 114Mbit/sec download (internet maximum for my line)

    But I wonder why 2,4GHz is rather "poor"??

    EDIT: Iphone can now get 28MBit/sec from 2,4GHz only, after I reenabled it, but theese issues I had with 9.315 also.

    Hi,

    I'm using the Ap100 (not C model) so wondering if it will fix my intermittent connection loss on 5GHZ?

    I would hold off on this release for now. I applied it this morning to address my WiFi 5GHz band issue with Apple devices and I have not been able to get ANY of my devices (Apple or otherwise)  to stay connected on 2.4GHz or 5GHz on my AP55. 

    This applies only to my AP55. My AP15 is still stable and is handling all my WiFi requests at the moment because the AP55 will not maintain a client connection at this point.

    I would hold off on this release for now. I applied it this morning to address my WiFi 5GHz band issue with Apple devices and I have not been able to get ANY of my Apple devices to stay connected on 2.4GHz or 5GHz.

    I'm trying to figure out how to downrev now.


    Update: After fiddling with configuration, the Fast Transition option of my wireless networks was the culprit. I was able to use it successfully prior to 9.350, but the new wireless AP firmware associated with this update seems to have a problem with Fast Transition=Enabled. I disabled it and my clients are able to connect now.

    If anyone has the ability to report this to Sophos Support (I am a home user) it would probably save someone else some grief.

    Update: I was seeing the rapid connect/disconnects following the 9.350012 update. Restarting my wifi enabled devices did not help. I finally hard power-cycled my AP55 and it is now accepting wireless connections correctly. I will report back regarding long-term stability.

    Same thing I did when I installed the 9.350-12 [;)]

    I have no issues so far....

    Does it fix the increasing connections (dns conntrack helper) bug ?

    Seems they set 9.350-12 to GA now... one of our UTMs have downloaded it and shows it in update... 9.315-12 is installed.
