unable to upgrade from V7.405 to V7.5

I manually checked the ftp site and discovered the V7.5 upgrade package which was available since 18th of sept.
For some unknown reason the systme doesn't automaticly upgrade to the latest version. Not sure if this is a security feature to prevent downtime or failures. 

I downloaded the package manually, uploaded it to the system but the update failed.
When checking the log file the following info is found.

    On main screen, finally received the message of a awaiting update.

    Performed the update, but not all screens got the green status in the update status window.
    The system did perform a automatic reboot , but when the proxy address is configured unable to access the Webadmin pages.The other internet pages are normally reacheble.
    When i  want to access the internet (without proxy config) i need to authenticate, where can this be configured / removed ??

    In which mode do you have the HTTP Proxy configured?  Which versions of browser and OS on the client PC?

    The OS i am using is Windows Vista and Windows 7 on both systems i have seen this strange behaviour.
    Default gw also pointing to the astaro LAN ip.

    On the Astaro system i configured the 'default' http(s) config in operation mode : transparant
    Also setup a https profile  with user authentication enabled.

    Right now i am sitting in front of the Windows 7 pc. with IE8 and Firefox installed. Under IE i have configured the proxy parameters and on firefox i have setup as not to use any proxy
    The reason for 2 browsers is that on firefox you can enter the proxy settings inpendit from IE  / windows.

    When i open for example Bing on Firefox i get a popup with a request for username / password.

    "www.live.com verzoekt om een gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord. De website meldt: “httpproxy”
    Even when i remove the proxy from IE i still get this popup for this site.
    This behaviour is new to me.
    Until the previous astaro version i used (7.504) it was just using the general https config.

    besided the íssue' above I also have a strange thing when i use  a browser where i have configured the proxy i am unable to access the webadmin pages.
    This was also the case when i upgraded the test system from 7.504 to one of the beta versions 2 weeks ago.
