Disk error 80

Want to install ASL V.5
If I boot form the CD-Rom it shows me this
Disk error 80 AX=4280 drive 9F
Boot failed press a key to retry

Why? The ASL V. 4 works whitout a problem.
Is it my hardware?

I've read elsewhere that this error is usually the result of a problem with the BIOS.

I forget the exact setting in the BIOS you need to select, but go to the hard drive settings and experiment with CHA, LBA, and Large. I believe CHA is the one you need but try each to see which one works. I had the same problem with V4 on an older machine and after changing the setting had no problems.

I got that once and I had to select LBA
