Up2Date from 9.712-13 to 9.712-19 fails

Hello Community,

for weeks now i try to install the latest update from 9.712-13 to 9.712-19 via Up2Date, but it keeps failing.

I tried using the GUI, updating to the release that already was automatically fetched by Up2Date.

I then also downloaded the update sparately, uploaded it and then tried to apply it.

Nevertheless, the result always is: "Pre-Installation checks fail"

I can't really figure out what the problem actually is.

Does anyone have a tip?

    I would change your Up2Date from the regular check interval to Manual, reboot, then upload the update again and try.  Leave it at Manual for now.  If it fails again, you may have to save a good backup, reinstall and restore from that backup.

    You also have a .RPM conflict it looks like with Avira.  If you are using that as your anti-virus engine, you could try to change it to the Sophos one and see if that helps, but doubtful.  I'd try anything though, lol.

    Thank you Arnodin for your help!

    I think i did s.th. similar: i reaplied the current patch (downloaded from online repo), and then let up2date discover the latest version again, and this time it got applied smoothly. Maybe a hickup during the last update...

    Now everything fine.
