SG115 and AP50

I have a SG115 with "UTM Home Use License" at my home. Wondering if I can use an AP50 with my SG115. Eventually how do I connect it to one of the LAN ports on the SG115 or can I connect the AP50 to the separate switch that I have connected to my SG115? I am a newbie, please don't shoot if this questions has been raised before or I am posting in wrong thread. Thanks

  • Yes, it should work. The UTM will be used for managing the access point.  You can connect it to a switch and if you have DHCP running, it should obtain an IP address from your DHCP.  Just enable Wireless Protection and once the AP cycles up when you power it on, it should appear as an inactive device in Wireless Protection > Access Points.

You just need to create your wireless network, add the AP to that wireless network and it will make the AP active.
