Hi,

Sophos UTM 9.706-9 installation fails on Lenovo SR530 with RAID Controller Thinksystem RAID 530-8i (LSI Logic/Symbios Logic RAID BUS Controller).

Before the installation process we made the array (RAID1) with succes from the native controller tool interface.

The installation fails with the message "No disk found".

Did you happen to check the Hardware Compatibility List to make sure the RAID controller is supported?

Hi,

i did not find the HCL on Sophos website, could you suggest me where to find it?
The Lenovo SR530 server was proposed to me by the Sophos distributor who found it compatible with UTM 9.7 ...

Yeah, there is no "official one" but I think this is the link still being used. It's basically the users doing the work: *Unofficial* Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) - Hardware, Installation, Up2Date, Licensing - UTM Firewall - Sophos Community

I'd think if a Sophos distributor would recommend it, then they would at least had to have tested it with the software.
