Trying to install 9.203003, but version 9.204019 is required for this up2date package.

Trying to install 9.203003, but version 9.204019 is required for this up2date package.

This is the message I get when I execute :

/sbin/auisys.plx --showsec

From the following site : https://download.astaro.com/UTM/v9/up2date/

I've download and uploaded any 9.2 file and uploaded it via the webgui.

Files are located in: /var/up2date/sys

1) What do I need to do so I can update to 9.3 and onwards?

2) Any ways I can get SSH running so i can copy and paste some commands via putty and/or upload files via filezilla.

  • Correct, Michael.  If I remember correctly, V7.5 or newer can be restored to the current version.  Make sure you get several backups off the unit before installing a new version on it as the first thing that happens in the install process is the disk is reformatted.

PS Kudos to Alex for thinking outside the box and coming up with the right answer to the underlying question.
