Migrate Settings from SG 125 to SG 135

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere but I couldnt see it.

We will be replacing our primary Firewall (SG 125 Rev2) with a SG 135 Rev3. The 125 will be repurposed for another site and the 135 will be licensed with the same features as our 125.

After Activating the new SG 135 can I simply take a Configuration backup from the 125 and upload it to the 135? I'd like to avoid the chance that some setting gets missed during setup.

Hi Winter7undra,

this should work perfect. Just note, backup restoration is only backward compatible, so make sure you have the same or a newer firmware version on the SG135.
