UTM 9.605-1 - Past firmware available for installation

Hello,

We have installed the lastest available firmware (9.605-1) on our HA Cluster (2x SG550). Installation was successfull on master and slave, but our dashboard is showing last updates  (9.601-5, 9.602-3, 9.603-1 and 9.604-2) available for installation.

We are up to date so why we would install an old firmware ... :)

If we go in Management -> Up2Date :

Before opening a case to Sophos Support, i ask if someone get the same problem.

Regards,

  • Hi

This some time happens with devices in HA. When you download any Firmware update, it is put into /var/up2date/sys directory and if your devices are in HA, these updated will be copied to the slave node in the same directory. These files should be removed after a firmware update but sometimes in HA setup, it does not happen due to the update sequence.

In order to remove this, you should log into SSH of your Master device and go to /var/up2date/sys directory. Here you can see the update packages. If your device is showing the packages, you may delete those from there. If it's not showing anything, you should enter auisys.plx --noreboot --verbose --showdesc  and that will make those updates disappear from the Dashboard.

    Regards

  • Hi Jaydeep,

Thanks for your solution. I deleted all files in /var/up2date/sys (root is needed) then i had to wait the next check for update and that works !
