Data Disk is filling up

Hello,

Today we got messages that our data disk is filling up, after some digging i found the following. There is a file in /var/storage/chroot-http/var/temp with the name "tmp_vV0df1" the file has a size of 34G. Has anybody got a idea if i can delete the file without creating issues?

Thx, Erwin Linker

  • Hoi Irwin,

I don't see any such file in /var/storage/chroot-http/var/tmp here.  Sill, I would be tempted to get Sophos Support involved before deleting something unknown.  Just curious, is there anything in /var/storage/cores?

    Cheers - Bob

  • Hi,

Thanks for the answer, yesterday i delete the temp file because it was around the 50 GB. After i delete nothing happend :-(, so the counter keeps going to the 100% full. After the unit hits his 100% full disk it went down to 11%. So don't know whats happends but it is solved.
