BUG with AD connection (9.408-4) ?

Hi get problems with AD connection at different installations last days.

i type in the password for AD-connection and be able to successfully test the connection.

After save and reopen the settings the test fails.

Seems password is not saved.

Seems this starts after upgrading to current version (9.408)

Someone get this error too?? Some workaround?

  • Yeah, got this one too.

    Opend a Ticket through our Distribution and mentioned it in the Release-Notes Post already.

    But seems not to be corrupting the AD-Connection.

    When you Prefetch User-Groups from AD, prefetching is still working, even with this error.

    can you (or anybody else) confirm that sso is also still working with this error?

  • don't use SSON at the 2 sites i see this problem.

    But SSL-VPN- ,UserPortal- and Webadnin-users are able to authenticate.

    Just tested in my lab -> UTM 9.408 VM with Server 2012 R2

    Active Directory sync works perfectly although I get this binding error mentioned before.

    Luckily SSO is also still working.

    Not happy with this little error message but it seems that there is no impact in functionality.
