BUG with AD connection (9.408-4) ?

Hi get problems with AD connection at different installations last days.

i type in the password for AD-connection and be able to successfully test the connection.

After save and reopen the settings the test fails.

Seems password is not saved.

Seems this starts after upgrading to current version (9.408)

Someone get this error too?? Some workaround?

  • I have had the same problems. Try an "aua" debug and take a look a the logs.

    It seems to be an problem with the LDAP Password. After some tcpdumps and taking a look with Wireshark I found out that

    the LDAP Password is always "__NO_CHANGE". No matter what you fill out.

  • OK, it's a problem with the GUI only.

    i am able to set the passwords and the Ad connection works for user authentication.

    Only reopening and testing the AD connection is not possible.
